Life as an NHL Equipment Ambassador with Brad Janson

When we watch a hockey game, we all see the battle taking place on the ice.

However, few of us are aware of the battle which takes place in the locker rooms between equipment companies fighting to get their products into the hands of the athletes. Players are given every opportunity to test out their desired selection of sticks, gloves, helmets, skates, etc., and because of this the industry can get fairly cut-throat.

We sit down with a man who made a career out of convincing the top athletes in the league to use his products, and over his career he's become one of the most infamous non-players to make his way into a locker room.

Brad Janson joins us to talk about his life as an equipment rep, as well as his role in the continuing story of Rick Nash's missing jerseys.
