Why Winning the Stanley Cup is JUST the Beginning

Many fans and players view the NHL season in a linear line: there's a beginning (the pre-season), a middle (roughly the All-Star break), and an end (the moment the Stanley Cup is handed to the winning team).

However, after the arena clears out and the players take their trophy out for a night on the town, there's an entire industry which is just beginning their work. For those of us in the world of Sports Marketing, one of our busiest moments begins at the very point in time that the season ends, and that's because an entire new realm of work, responsibility, and opportunity, has just opened itself up.

In this episode Brian and Mikey Ehrenworth sit down to talk their way through what the end of an NHL season looks like to them--from the onslaught of work, the rush to get new product into the marketplace, and an attempt to build inventory when the rest of the league is deciding to take some time off.
